In India, the ranking of Engineering, Medical, Dental, Law, Universities etc are given by NIRF ie. National Institutional Ranking Framework which works under ministry of education, Government of India. Here is the list of Top 10 Engineering Colleges in India in 2023 as per NIRF Ranking.
According to this list IIT Madras is ranked at the first place with the score of 89.79 followed by IIT Delhi (87.09) and IIT Bombay (80.74). In the first 10 engineering colleges first 8 are IIT's. Notable is that NIT Tiruchirappalli is in the list at 9th position while Jadavpur University, Kolkata is at the tenth.
